Questions
Is a promise in Amaanah Vault a legal contract?
No. Promises and commitments are personal records. They are not automatically promissory notes, contracts or court documents. Loan agreements are not legally binding either, but they document what both people agreed.
Does Amaanah Vault lend money or find me a lender?
No. We do not lend money and we do not connect lenders with borrowers. Lend only to people you know personally — the app keeps the record, the reminders and the agreement. Collecting repayment stays between you.
Does this replace a will?
No. Wasiyyah and legacy notes help organise information for the people who may need it. A valid will still requires proper legal advice.
Will you store my banking password?
No. Account records hold institution names and masked identifiers only — never passwords, PINs, card codes or recovery keys.
Who pays for the app?
Lenders (the main account holders) are charged. Borrowers have restricted access and only pay if they choose to upgrade.
What problem is this actually for?
